Ryan Chappell has over a decade of experience across multi-billion-dollar brands and industries spanning Food & Beverage, Wine & Spirits, Music, and Tech. He has led annual brand and marketing strategies, campaigns, product launches, and experiences across PepsiCo, Spotify, Hennessy, Shell, and many more.
35th & Mac is an intersection in located in Oakland, CA where Ryan first began gathering multiple cultural touchpoints. This is the source of inspiration for 35th & Mac which aims to build roots with clients and drive impact.
As a tastemaker and thought-leader in marketing, Ryan has been recognized as Ad Age’s 40 Under 40 Honoree for his successful track record leading brands and for his most recent work creating Frequency at Spotify. A content brand and hub celebrating and highlighting Black creators and their connection to Black Gen Z.
Ryan shares his knowledge and perspective as a speaker and panelist at various events, conferences, and corporations. He also launched the Marketing Misfit Podcast running from 2018-2020 where marketing meets culture. He also serves on the board of directors for the Marcus Graham Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving representation in the creative, advertising, and marketing industries.
